Terms of service
Last updated: 8 November 2026
1. Who we are
Siteboard is a software service provided by Escargo Technologies, 22 Laurences Park, Drogheda, Co. Louth, A92 T6N2, Ireland ("we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@escargo.ie or +353 85 826 8648.
2. Who these terms are for
Siteboard is sold to businesses, not to consumers. "You" means the business that subscribes. The person who accepts these terms confirms they are allowed to do so for that business. Your staff, subcontractors and customers who use Siteboard through your account must follow these terms too, and you are responsible for their use.
3. Your subscription
- The plan costs €229 per month, billed monthly in advance from the start date we agree with you. What the plan includes and the price of add-ons are shown on our pricing page or in your written quote.
- Add-ons are charged monthly from the month you add them.
- Set-up, training and custom work are quoted and agreed separately in writing.
- We are not currently registered for VAT. If we register, VAT will be added at the correct rate and we will tell you first.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
4. Paying
You can pay by card or other methods offered through our payment provider, Stripe, or by bank transfer to the account shown on your invoice. If a payment is late we will send reminders. If an invoice is unpaid for more than 15 days after its due date, we may limit your account until it is paid. We will warn you before we do this. We will not delete your data because of late payment.
5. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@escargo.ie or by cancelling the card subscription in Stripe. Your account stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
- We do not refund part of a month already paid, unless the law requires it. If you were charged by mistake, tell us within 30 days and we will refund the mistaken charge.
- We may end the service with 30 days' notice. If we do, we refund any whole months you paid for in advance and did not use.
- We may suspend or end an account straight away if it is used unlawfully, to harm others, or in serious breach of these terms.
6. Your data
- Everything you and your team put into Siteboard (jobs, tasks, reports, photos, documents, hours, customer details) belongs to you.
- We use it only to provide Siteboard to you, as explained in our privacy policy. For personal data about your staff and customers, you are the data controller and we act as your processor under the GDPR.
- You can ask for a copy of your data at any time, and up to 30 days after your account ends. After that we delete it within 90 days, except records we must keep by law (for example invoices).
- You are responsible for having the right to put personal data into Siteboard, for telling your staff and customers how it is used, and for getting consent where it is needed, for example before recording a meeting.
7. Using Siteboard properly
Do not use Siteboard to break the law, to upload anything you do not have the right to share, to try to get into other customers' data, or to interfere with the service. Keep your login details safe and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
8. The service
We work to keep Siteboard available, secure and backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or problems with our hosting providers. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a feature that is central to how you use Siteboard, we will tell you in advance. Some features use automatic tools (for example translation, reading supplier bills or summarising recorded meetings); their results can contain mistakes and should be checked.
9. Support
Your plan includes the support hours shown on the pricing page. Support is given by email or phone during normal business hours in Ireland.
10. Liability
Siteboard is a tool to help you run your business. You remain responsible for your work, site safety, payroll, tax and the decisions you make. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for loss of profit, revenue or business, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you in a significant way. The date at the top shows the latest version.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it.
